Switching from points to electronic ignition So I have a 77 Suzuki gs 400, needs new points, doesn't run right doesn't want to idle. The 0722 coil (for points) has 5mm studs for both positive & negative while the 0820 coil (for elec. Originally I was just going to throw a PerTronix unit in and not give it that much thought.
